Photograph the dark object on a quiet field so the white type reads. One product, one hero angle, and a render that matches the sheen of the real part.

A quiet field behind a dark product.

Hero frames put the product on a dark or neutral ground. White lettering has to survive the photo. A busy room, a window blowout, or a colored backdrop fights the object.

Why: White lettering on a dark finish is what makes the product recognizable, and a bright or busy background swallows both.

One product in the hero.

The first frame is the thing being sold. Accessories, hands, and the rest of the system get their own frames. Two products in one hero make the buyer ask which one they clicked.

Why: Two products in the hero make the buyer ask which one they are looking at.

Reuse one hero angle.

pd-photo-angle

Status: proposed.

Every product in the line uses the same three-quarter hero. Detail frames are straight-on close-ups of the joint, the mark, the control, and the material. Do not invent a new angle per SKU.

Why: A new camera angle on every SKU makes the line look like unrelated products.

The render matches the sheen.

pd-photo-real-finish

Status: proposed.

A picture that is glossier, darker, or cleaner than the shipped finish is a false spec. Photograph the actual material and making process, including its sheen and any fingerprints visible in use.

Why: A render that is glossier than the object is a complaint on delivery day.

Show scale when size is the point.

pd-photo-scale

Status: proposed.

If the buyer must judge size, include one frame with a hand or a known object. Do not fake scale by cropping tight. The size guide still carries the numbers.

Why: A desk and a small puck need a hand or a known object in one frame, or the size is a guess.
